Participants will improve their financial and analytical skills as they work with money, plan and act gradually in increasingly complex activities, in which all sorts of challenging situations arise, encountered in real life. With this program, you can develop your ability to perceive and understand in a unitary way the financial information of the organization, all integrated in the same overall picture of a field of forces that interact.

 In this way, you will be able to make better decisions, anticipating their impact more accurately. Whether it’s the impact on cash, on profit, on investment, on people, these decisions are meant to benefit the company in the medium / long term.

How do we work?

Participants become entrepreneurs or executive managers, the teams in which they operate become companies operating in the market, and the classroom becomes a competitive market.

This simulation creates an ideal context for learning, and the lessons have immediate applications, being directly transferable in the reality of simulation, and then in everyday life. Participants will improve their financial and analytical skills as they work with money, plan and act gradually in increasingly complex activities, in which all sorts of challenging situations, encountered in real life, may arise.

The program uses a wide range of experiential learning tools: auditive, visual, kinesthetic.

Turning spreasheets reporting into visual forms that are easy to understand, use and remember is an experience that has a big impact on participants.

For example, the balance sheet is presented in a well-structured form, that models its exact role in financial management: presenting all the resources that a company has and where those resources come from.

The profit and loss document highlights all the important elements for financial analysis and decision making: gross margin, operating profit, pre-tax profit, net profit. What is EBITDA? What is EBIT? What do they mean and what are these indicators telling us?

How does money flow in the company?

Why can we have a profit and still not have the money we for current activities?

Why can’t we make investments, even though the market and competition force us to make them?

How can we analyze if the organization is able to create value?

How to use the various indicators related to the Profit and Loss Account?
